Transitional Care Unit

The changing face of health care has seen services diminishing in hospital settings, and the care and services have begun transferring to skilled nursing environments. In 2006, Billings Health & Rehabilitation renovated their therapy department to provide a state-of-the-art rehabilitation unit to offer skilled care for residents with medically complex or rehabilitative needs.

Partnering with Innovative Rehabilitation,
we offer:

• Enlarged therapy gym with private treatment rooms and specialized equipment for rehabilitation
• Physical occupation and speech therapy with geriatric specialists
• Isolation rooms as diagnosis dictates
• Whirlpool and sonic wave tubs for wound care and physical therapy
• Separate dining rooms with menu dining to cater to individual tastes
• Family rooms for visiting and meetings
• Uniquely designed resident rooms where each resident has a private alcove and a window view
